Dangling the V dealing over my head, so this was how King Russell was going to persuade me into marrying him. He seemed unwavered when I informed him of my most clever of plans - pinning the V sales on my Area 5 Sheriff, Eric Northman. Turning Fangtasia into the Magister’s hunting grounds. Suspicious, how did he know about the V sales. There were only two Vampires that knew about my dealing – Eric Northman and William Compton, which one had violated their allegiance to me. Caring less about King Russell’s small minded threats to inform the AVL. I made a bold move delivering King Russell my final rejection in three little words and as I did – I slammed to the ground – pinned.

Glaring up at Eric Northman’s bloodied face. He is the one who slaughtered my guards. He is the one who commited the treasonist act of selling me out. I felt his hands tighten and squeeze around my neck. Taking in some amusment as he seethed with anger at being framed and renouncing his allegiance to me. I retorted with a denial in recognizing his denouncment of allegiance. As I felt the power of his strength, I showed him no signs of conceding – his grip tightened. With a dead stare I challenged his threat to rip my head off. Eric Northman wasn’t going to kill me as he so threatened and King Russell wasn’t going permit him to do so. The consequences would be too grave, besides I had information – the information King Russell and Eric Northman so desperately craved. Information about one Sookie Stackhouse.

Ambushed and backed into a corner by King Russell’s ignoble move to take my Queendom. Having no choice left…I reluctantly agreed to marry King Russell. For the moment, I was defeated…

Before sliding back into the limo, I glared up at King Russell. Him looking down from atop the river boat with the most utterly ridiculous smile on his face. Seeing it, enraged me more, forcing disastrous thoughts to seep into my mind. Wanting no more than to drive a stake through his idiotic un-beating heart. Ordering the driver to leave this spectacle, my rage shifted, finding the humor in his request. So he thinks he can force his way in by persuading me to marry him *chuckles* Divinely stupid and unimaginative. I really would’ve expected more from a Vampire as old as he. Sobering. This was not going to be the last time I heard from King Russell nor is last attempt at my Queendom.

I was highly suspicious of King Russell’s call to meet, stepping out of the limo with great caution. He’s had his eyes on Louisiana for some time and was most certain this was another attempt at needling his way in, not to mention playing me as part of a larger, more extravagant plan. But I was not expecting his latest improvisation.

My Human Life Unto My Death

It’s been centuries since I’ve thought about my human life and I do so enjoy my un-dead life, and the certain liberties that it brings. I ceased to exist as a human long ago in the where abouts of Northern France, Lotharingia, as it was known then.

A lonely peddedler arrived in my village, what a dreaded place it was, carrying what I believe we now know today as the simple flu. Within a matter of weeks the whole village was wiped out with the exception of me and one other boy. I won’t delve into the abhorrent details of how we procurred food, shelter and money in order to survive. There’s simply no point in dwelling on the past.

One evening while camped out in the woods between towns. A Vampire emerged, attacking the boy out of hunger. This Vampire apparently enjoyed my company and we traveled around for years, with me constantly pestering him on brining me over.

One night as we were passing through a small village, a man recognized my soon to be maker for what he was, a Vampire and quickly bound him in silver. The villagers stored my maker in a hut, leaving me free. Not entirely free, this village idiot, wanted to take me in for his slave.

After sneaking away, I finally convinced my maker to turn me and when I rose as Vampire, I would free him. This took a bit of bargaining, but certainly something I am quite good at. We made all the preparations for my turning. On the third night I rose, to a Priest in the hut and my maker dead. The Priest knew what I was so I told him some fable of me being the Angle of Death and that I was passing him over. Silly humans and their blind faith. Ever since then I have relished my un-dead life.
